Come GROW.

As Christians, we are called to continually grow and mature in our spiritual walk. Our growth should lead us to look more and more like Jesus so that we can reflect Him daily and lead others to Him. We should study His Word and reflect daily as we seek to grow. We also gather regularly for worship and times of study as a church family.  There are many opportunities to grow, study, teach, and edify. If you are not a Christian, but want to learn more about the hope we have in Jesus, please join us for worship or contact us using the contact info below.
 Come learn and grow!

Be FAMILY.

We are a community of believers, a family united in faith. God knew we needed community. Church family is such a blessing! Our church family is a place to belong, to be loved, and to be encouraged.  In additon to our regular meeting times, we have many other gatherings and events that allow us to have fun and encourage and support one another. We have gatherings for women, men, and for every life stage.
There is a place for you here!

Go SERVE.

Each of us are to use our talents to serve the Lord and to serve one another. Jesus left us a perfect example of humble service. We are to follow His example as we serve and share the good news with those around us.
Here are some of the ways you can connect & serve at Lewisville:

  • Backpack Giveaway
Each summer, we collect items and fill backpacks for local school children. We have our Giveaway Day in August.

  • Helping Huffines
We are partnering with a nearby Middle School to help meet the needs of their students and to support and encourage their teachers and staff. Some of our members also mentor at the school. There are many ways to help with this community effort.

  • Caring & Sharing
An exciting opportunity to serve children in need. Our big event is a toy drive each December, providing holiday joy to 120+ kids and caretakers at the children’s homes that we support.

  • Diakonos Leadership Conference
This weekend is intended to challenge and encourage leaders to lead more like Christ. We want ministers, elders, deacons and ministry leaders to make plans to join us for DIAKONOS in November.

  • IMPACT!
IMPACT!, an umbrella ministry, is a weekly gathering that brings members together to assist various ministries of the Church.  We send out Military Care Packages, write notes of encouragement and mail out Bible correspondence courses around the world, and more! IMPACT meets the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays @ 6 p.m. through the school year. We share a meal and serve together!

  • Woman 2 Woman Conference
An annual gathering of sisters in Christ (usually the 1st Saturday in October) to help them recharge spiritually and be encouraged with teaching and fellowship.

  • Threads of Love
Threads of Love is a group of ladies that get together once a week to sew comfort pillows to help people in need.

  • Fall Festival for the Community
An annual event filled with food, fun, and games for families with children 5th grade and younger. It serves as a great outreach to our neighborhood and friends.
  • Lads to Leaders
Lads to Leaders is a weekend conference held on Easter weekend with thousands of children/teens assembling to demonstrate their spiritual leadership development in areas such as song leading, speech, Bible Bowl, Art, Debate, and many other areas. Some categories are year-round achievements while others are competitive to help young people grow in their lifelong service to Christ and His Kingdom.

  • Vacation Bible School
We love Vacation Bible School because we love teaching children about the Lord! We have live actors sharing the stories found in Scripture, great singing and of course lots of snacks. VBS usually kicks off on the first Sunday in June each summer.

  • T3 Commission
The T3 Commission weekend is the 2nd weekend in February each year and is a time for teenagers tp come together and be uplifted and energized by God’s Word and each other. The weekend is designed to bring glory to God through praise of His Name, study of His Word, and the equipping of His People for good works in our modern world. We sincerely hope that those who attend walk away enriched in the knowledge and grace of our Lord.

  • O.W.L.S. Conference
(Outstanding Women Leading and Serving) is a service oriented camp for incoming 9th graders to graduated seniors. During the week, we focus on providing young ladies an opportunity to hear encouraging and inspiring lessons by various Christian women. We also have amazing opportunities to put our faith in action with a variety of service projects. We hope all of the campers will grow in their faith as well as build lasting friendships

  • Preacher Training Camp
A weeklong camp held at our facility each year beginning the third Sunday in July. This camp is for all high school freshmen - college-aged young men who would like to learn how to prepare and deliver a sermon along with learning about the life and work of a preacher.

These are just some of the ways you can serve. There are many other opportunities to serve, encourage, teach and mentor.

More about our family...

Youth

Our Youth Ministry is home to a great group of about 65 Junior High and High School students that love the Lord and are continually striving to grow to be like Him. We would love for your family to consider getting involved with this great ministry—to help our youth grow and thrive! Programs for young people in grades 6-12 include Bible classes for their unique needs, summer and winter camps and retreats, annual youth conferences and mission trips, and opportunities to have fun and help others.

Our hope and aim is that, through the assistance of this ministry, using the Word of God, their lives will begin to look more like Jesus. We work to help them be involved in fun activities and build lasting friendships while growing in their faith. (2 Tim. 3:15).

Families

Our church family is extremely blessed with a wide array of active families from various ages within our congregation.  Each phase of life presents its own set of trials and obstacles to coincide with the joys and successes we can all experience.  Our goal is to understand what each life stage can present and minister accordingly through classes, fellowships, retreats, service projects, and special seminars to help our families thrive.  Wherever you are in life, there is something for you here!

Young Adults

Our Young Adults strive to be a unifying group of young adults bringing together all ages of the Lewisville church. Whether we're mentoring youth, supporting senior members, or participating in the local community, our aim is to share Jesus by combining our individual strengths to serve others in more impactful ways than we could accomplish on our own. Come join us as we participate in the life of our church and the Lewisville area!

Primetimers

At Lewisville, we don’t believe in ever sitting on the sidelines no matter what our age! As individuals who are in our 60’s, 70’s, and beyond, we feel we are in the prime time of our lives and want to make the most of the time God has granted us. We enjoy spending time with each other in “koinonia” – the Greek word for Fellowship. We are an active group who make several trips a year to popular destinations and attractions. However, the majority of the time we spend together, we are helping spread God’s love through various service projects, Bible Studies, and many activities of the Church which involve us coming together and working as a team and having fun. We are grateful that God has granted us abilities that we can use for His Glory, and we do our best to do just that!
